Welcome!
Action figures have been a favorite past time of mine ever since I can remember - countless characters from movies, television, cartoons, and comic books, all immortalized into miniature articulated figures.
But what about the characters that collectors never had the opportunity of owning in plastic? That's were people with a vast enthusiasm for action figures as well as a knack for craftsmanship come in.
I've had an interest in the craft of customizing beautiful figures ever since being introduced to it through Wizard and ToyFare Magazine. Both of which have showcased photos of fan-made customs over the years, and I fondly remember their competitions for the greatest customs during the mid '90s.
But predating even this introduction, my older brother had been taking some of our less regarded figures and trying to transform them into characters we didn't own.
Many, if not all, of these early custom jobs were crude, featuring sloppy paint jobs, crooked-edged fabric capes, and sometimes even the use of permanent marker for additional coloring - certainly not the designs I would have invisioned but managable nontheless.
But it wasn't until the summer of 2003 that I finally began combining my love of creativity and craftsmanship with action figures to be able to create my own figures and to make the characters the fans like myself always wanted but could never get through retailers. And beyond that, any sort of "non-canon" designs that sparked my interest were of course fair game as well in the world of figure customizing. The field is seemingly limitless.
This site is a showcase of my custom figures, methods of craft, and in-progress works - a simple expression of creativity and my appreciation of the world of actions figures. I hope you enjoy your visit, and thanks for stopping by.
